Fall with the head knock, Skrtel Could Want More Main
Liverpool – Martin Skrtel played just three minutes before she fell and hit her head hard. Although in the end is pulled out, the Liverpool defender revealed that he actually wanted to continue playing.
Skrtel played since the first minute of the FA Cup quarterfinal match between Liverpool and Blackburn Rovers at Anfield on Sunday (08/03/2015) night. But he only survived on the field for three minutes before finally falling.
The incident began when Skrtel involved aerial duel with Blackburn striker, Rudy Gestede. Slovakian defender then fell to the back of the head hit first.
Skrtel then lay on the ground and received treatment from medical personnel. Having dealt for a few minutes, the 30-year-old then stretchered off with wear buffer around his neck.
Seeing how fallen, Skrtel condition was very worried. But now Skrtel stated that he was fine and even had wanted to continue the game.
“Everything is fine. I was unconscious for a while but glad nothing serious,” said Skrtel at Liverpool’s official website quoted as saying.
“I want to keep playing but the physio follow the rules, they do not allow me, that’s the rules!”
