Jayapura – current PSSI chairman, Djohar Arifin Husin, pleaded not too ambius with his candidacy for re-election following the stock helm PSSI future periods.
“I nominated a lot of people, I am willing to go forward,” said Djohar Arifin while in Jayapura, Papua, Friday (02/13/2015) night.
Djohar was in the capital of Papua province since Friday morning to attend the annual congress of the Association of PSSI invitation Papua Province which will take place on Saturday (14/2) at the Hotel Aston Jayapura.
“We’ll see, if the congress supporters expect us,” he said.
Selection helm PSSI will be made in the Extraordinary Congress on 18 April in Surabaya, East Java. Djohar said he was more concerned about the congress can be successful running smoothly.
“Concentration us how this congress went well. I’m not ambitious, but how we prepared the concept that this should go, do not be changed anymore,” he said.
“Our job, how it can be successful PSSI congress, so the road smoothly, no noise, because we are tired of fuss. We want smooth and peaceful atmosphere,” he added.
When asked if his arrival in Papua is also intended to seek support in later outbreaks, Djohar say no.
“I do not need to campaign again. It’s been how many years of my campaign? Maybe if new people need. If I do not need to introduce myself. From how many years I have often to these areas, so it is enough,” he said.
